Projects of LCSC

LCSC is currently engaged in three primary projects. First, LCSC helps to manage LiveWell Wheat Ridge, one of twelve LiveWell programs around the state. LiveWell Wheat Ridge is focused on advancing healthy eating and active living at the program, project and policy level. LiveWell Wheat Ridge is a collaborative initiative with many partners from the Wheat Ridge community. For more information about LiveWell Wheat Ridge, please visit http://www.livewellwheatridge.com.

LCSC also provides support staff for the Healthiest Communities Team of the Metro Denver Health and Wellness Commission. The Healthiest Communities Team is focused on promoting health and healthy communities through policy, equitable transportation funding, community driven initiatives, complete streets and access to healthy foods. For more information about the Healthiest Communities Team, contact Paige Heydon-McCrary or Catherine Marinelli. For more information about the MDHWC, visit www.mdhwc.org.

LCSC has also worked on the Peer to Peer Learning Network project for the past twelve months. The Peer to Peer Learning Project (P2PLN) is one of the strategic priorities of the Convergence Partnership, which is a strategic collaborative comprised of Kaiser Permanente, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, W.K. Kellogg Foundation, Nemours Foundation, the California Endowment and the Centers for Disease Control.
